The Gods are beings that existed before time and shaped the Universe at its conception.

They are elder beings who each champion an element and watch over the mortal realm from their cloudy Godrealm.

Their mortal enemies are The Demons, 7 eldritch abominations whose influence has also shaped the Universe since its beginning. After a fierce war, Kargob and the others sealed these demons in the forms of swords, and hid them across the mortal realm. Later, the God of Fire urged the others to create the Godswords - five blades that were infused with much of the Gods life essence and were strategically placed near some of the sealed Demon Swords, in the event they were needed. While Baltad and Greg created beasts to guard their swords, Argok opted to recruit mortals.
